About the Journal
General Introduction
The Journal of Engineering and Technology (JET) is a quarterly publication of School of Engineering under aegis of the Centre for Research, Innovation and Development (CRID), the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria.
Scope
It is an avenue for publication of original research, reviews and short communication by the researchers all over the World focusing on all areas of Engineering. The manuscripts are usually subjected to peer review and if found suitable are published as research articles. The research articles are published March, June, September and December of every year. Results of original research, review articles and other short communications will be published by the Journal in the following areas:
- Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical and Electronic Engineering
- Materials and Metallurgical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mechatronic Engineering
- Mineral and Petroleum Resources Engineering and Technology
- Water Resources and Environmental Engineering
Review Policy
JET is using policy of peer review; thus, both the reviewer and author remain anonymous throughout the process. The submission file should contain title page, which is separated from the manuscript. The title page shall comprise 1) the full title; 2) the authors’ names, listed in the order in which they are to appear in print; 3) a complete address for each author; 4) Abstract; and 5) Keywords. While the manuscript shall contain the full title and other aspects of the body of the article, but without Authors’ names.
Authors must affirm that any submission to JET has not been and will not be published or submitted elsewhere while under consideration by JET. Any previously published materials used in the article must be clearly identified and accompanied by written permission from the holder of the copyright. Following peer review, revised manuscripts should be submitted with “AUTHORS’ RESPONSE” clearly indicating how the comments and criticisms of the reviewers have been addressed.
Submission of articles
An electronic copy of clearly readable, computer processed (Word format) manuscript, not previously published and also not being considered for publication elsewhere should be submitted for consideration through online submission system OR email the manuscript to cridjeteditor@fedpolyado.edu.ng. Authors is expected to submit their article(s) accompanied by a processing fee of N5000.00.
